3. Provide a copy of the birth certificate.
4. There is a $30 per child administration fee.
Schedule a Baptism:
Sign up for a Baptism date will be done at the Baptism Preparation session or by calling the Parish Life Center after attending a class. We recommend attending the class early in your pregnancy, which facilitates signing up for a baptism date when the baby arrives.
Baptism Preparation Session:
The baptism preparation session is one hour long. Babies are welcome! The session covers the natural symbols of life that the Church uses in baptism: water, oil (Sacred Chrism), sponsor, white garment, and candle. The goal is to increase understanding of those symbols and why they are used, so the richness of Christ's action in the family is explored and appreciated in a new way and to a new depth of meaning.
