High school youth are a blessing to any parish community and St. Mary’s strives to include high school youth in every aspect of parish life. There are multiple ways for high school youth to be involved at St. Mary’s.
Fused Youth Group is focused on faith-based discussions and community building among the youth. Meeting twice a month on Sundays from 6-7:30 PM at the church. Fused participants, and all high school youth, are also invited to serve at special service opportunities throughout the year. No registration required to participate.
High School Peer Ministry meets during Wednesday Faith Formation at 4:15 or 6:30 pm. High school youth will mentor middle school Faith Formation students. Peer Ministry meets to plan lessons and activities to lead throughout the year, to build up the community of young believers at St. Mary’s.
High school youth are welcome to serve in our parish in many ministries, including our Workcamp mission trip. St. Mary’s also has fun social events for high school youth including ski trips, overnights and open time in the Youth Room.
