Are you interested in learning more about the Catholic faith or joining the Catholic Church?

The RCIA, or Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is a process for adults who wish to look more closely at the Catholic Church.

The RCIA is for

  • Those who are not baptized, leading to the Sacraments of Initiation – Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist
  • Those baptized in a Christian tradition who wish to come into full communion with the Catholic Church
  • Those baptized in the Catholic tradition who wish to complete their initiation through the Sacraments of Confirmation and/or Eucharist

Inquiry sessions are ongoing and held 10 AM Sundays at church. If you, or someone you know, might be interested in knowing more about the process or want to register, please call the Parish Life Center at 651-429-7771 and speak with Mary Beth Jambor or email her.

RCIA is also open to those interested in learning more about the Catholic Church, but are not yet ready to join.

Have you been away from the Catholic Church for a while? Are you interested in returning?

There are many different reasons why people leave the Church. No matter the reason, we would love to have you back in our family. We know this is an important decision. Below is some information for you as you discern your return to the Church.

Click here for a website, Catholics Come Home, that has answers to many questions and includes some testimonies from others who have returned to the Catholic Church.

If you would like to talk to a St. Mary’s staff member, please contact Mary Beth Jambor.

Join us on Flocknote and choose how you receive alerts from St. Mary of the Lake!

Flocknote is a communication platform designed with Catholic parishes in mind and allows you to sign up for the most up-to-date information how you prefer, whether via email or text message. St. Mary’s uses Flocknote to send out our weekly Thursday email to parishioners. You can choose the specific groups that you would like to join and how each of those groups communicate with you. Since you choose what’s most relevant to you, you will receive targeted announcements and avoid the need to scroll through or search as much. These are the main groups on our Flocknote page: St. Mary’s Families (PreK-8th), High School Ministry, Catholic Young Adults, or Everyone (includes all groups/all subscribers). Archbishop Hebda sends Flocknote subscribers in parishes across the Archdiocese a monthly video as well. You can also receive these messages by going here.

Signing up is as easy as texting SMOL to 84567 or going to StMaryoftheLakeWBL.flocknote.com.
