The Respect Life Ministry at St. Mary’s strives to educate and advocate for the protection of human life from conception to natural death. We believe that every human life is uniquely created in the image and likeness of God and needs protection and care during all stages of his/her life. The right to life is a fundamental right and the basis of all other human rights.

From The Catechism of the Catholic Church: “Human life must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception. From the first moment of his existence, a human being must be recognized as having the rights of a person – among which is the inviolable right of every innocent being to life. (CCC #2270)
