Vacation Bible School

St. Mary of the Lake does not provide the traditional model of Vacation Bible School at this time. Instead, we offer so much more with our Summer Academy model of learning. In addition to meaningful discussions as the teacher walks the class through the Alive in Christ workbook, children are offered break-out sessions for lively music, fun art projects, games and service projects that help the children engage in hands-on Catholic Social Teachings. If you attend a Catholic school, attending Summer Academy will not only give you the fun feeling you get from Vacation Bible School, but you also gain that much more understanding of the Catholic faith. It will probably earn you an easy A in your next religion class! If you do not attend a Catholic school, the Summer Academy program is a double program for you. It is Vacation Bible School and Faith Formation all rolled up into one.
